I am 5'8' 190 lbs and the backrest is perfect for me. However, I can imagine that for anyone much taller, or "wider" it may not be so.

I agree with the 5-star reviews. High-quality chair. The heavyweight alone and the large size of the box make a good impression. Quick and easy to assemble. Very smooth-running castors. Everything is adjustable.
