Things to consider: There aren't many downsides, unless you're very picky. The armrests feel slightly loose, though this is understandable given their range of motion. If you're not very heavy, the cushioning might feel a bit firm. Personal experience: I bought the XL version and initially doubted if it would be too big. However, it would have been a mistake to get the regular size, especially since I'm tall, have long legs, and am on the heavier side.  This chair is sooo comfy! Just sitting on the seat, which is not too soft nor too firm is a wonderful experience.
