It was very easy to assemble and took me 20 minutes. You can do it on your own, but it's quicker and easier with two people (the backrest weighs quite a bit and the other individual parts aren't exactly light either).

I just finished putting it together; it probably took me half an hour or so. I like the firmness and support of the chair itself (which I'm sitting in as I type this), a significant improvement over my old office chair.
