The lumbar support and head pillow can be removed as your will. The chair can be reclined 135 °. I can also adjust the armrest back/forth, up/dowm etc.

Assembly is simple and easy to follow thanks to the included instructions. Just follow the step-by-step instructions and you won't have any further problems. You may need a second person to put it on what I call the height adjuster.
