I have an older model (~8 years) and one of the wheelbase arms broke off. DXRacer was responsive to my email question and told me which base would work with my model. I love the DX brand for its quality and price. I purchased my original DX Formula chair back in 2013 and the chair is still in outstanding shape but the chair lift portion would gradually lower the chair on its own so it was bad after a decade of heavy use. I'm sure I could have purchased the part to keep that chair going another several years but opted to purchase the newest Drifter series model. I love the new Drifting series design compared to my original Formula chair. The build quality is still as solid as my original chair with some design changes that I think are well thought out to improve the chair design (e.g., adjustable arm rests). I'm loving my new Drift series chair for overall design, comfort and competitive pricing you can't beat for the quality you get. Sure I could have gotten a $150 chair that would likely fall apart in 2 years but I opted to stay in the DX family for the quality I expect where my chair lasts 10+ years!

As a someone who spends extended periods at a computer, I sought a premium chair that would focus comfort, support, and function, while simultaneously allowing me to play guitar from the same piece of furniture. This chair exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The chair's adjustability options are impressive. The height can be easily adjusted, as can the pitch of the backrest. The armrests are also adjustable.
